Am I insane for jetting across the world to work crazy hours without a full plan? Maybe. But I think this is exactly what I’m destined to be doing.
This past week, I went on a 1,524 mile road trip by myself and visited the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Park. I hiked, kayaked, and escaped from the city to spend a little bit of much-needed time in nature.
When I decided to travel for 2 1/2 months, it was important to make sure that I was cognizant of the money I was spending. I evaluated and categorized every single cost for anyone curious about the price of my trip.
It was time to head back to Los Angeles and say goodbye to Europe. After almost an entire day of travel, I was finally home.
It was my last full day in Rome AND my last full day in Europe. The trip had gone by so quickly. I decided to wake up a bit earlier than usual so I could take advantage of the day.
I started my morning with a photoshoot at the Colosseum right after work. Later in the evening, I headed to Trastevere for drinks and dessert.
I went to get my hair done, noticed a cat colony at an archaeological site across the street, and then stopped by Saint Peter’s Square in Vatican City.
I had a low key day and walked around the city center to grab a late lunch. I went to a popular tiramisu spot near the Trevi Fountain before heading home.
