Life Update + DTLA Photoshoot
I haven’t written a post about this quarter yet, so I thought I’d update you all on my life. I’m about halfway through my last quarter at FIDM (hallelujah!) and just started my additional five classes at LAVC. Unfortunately, I have to attend two of those classes in person and they’re on separate days. Guess who's going to be spending way too much time commuting to the valley? That would be me.
I’m also working part-time at a clothing company as a social media writer. I think most people who know me are already aware of my extensive spelling and grammar corrections via text. And by the way, I think being able to communicate properly is an important aspect that EVERYONE needs to work on. If I see one more person say “loose” when they mean “lose” or vice versa, I’m going to lose it. That might be a whole separate blog post so don't get too excited yet. I know you're really looking forward to reading about my dissatisfaction with people's lack of basic skills.
I hope to get a head start on my future baseball career soon. I don’t necessarily know how that’s going to happen yet, but I know that if I set my mind to something, it’ll manifest. I’m also excited to actually have a summer this year and aside from working, I intend on traveling as much as I can. A couple other things that I have lined up include my trip to Spring Training, concerts in LA, tv tapings, baseball games (are you surprised?) and lots of new content creation.
I’m going to end this blog post with pictures from yesterday by my talented friend Deanie. You can check out her photography work on Facebook, Instagram and VSCO. We went to Verve Coffee in DTLA and then explored the fashion district. Here are some of the images from the shoot:
