Day 50: Monte Carlo, Monaco
When I woke up, I went to a few stores because I wanted to find an F1 jacket or something that said Monte Carlo on it. Neither of the stores had what I was looking for, but I was getting hungry so I stopped by a stand for a crepe.
Afterwards, I walked back towards the area near the casino and decided to check out Zara. I ended up finding a fair amount of things that I liked and despite the fact that I barely had room in my suitcase, I bought a few new things.
I tried to make sure everything that I was purchasing I’d wear again in LA, so I passed on most items. I checked on the US Zara website and the price of items in Euros converted to USD was cheaper than the items priced in USD, so I figured it was a decent investment.
After Zara, I headed back up to the apartment to take a nap and make dinner. I planned to visit the casino later in the evening.
I walked back down to the Monte Carlo Casino at around 11pm. After paying the entrance fee that included a £10 credit for the slot machines, I went inside. It wasn’t as packed as I thought it’d be, so after I lost the £10, I decided to go back to my apartment. I think it’d be more fun during the summer when there are more people.
I spent the rest of the night relaxing and went to bed early.
