Day 65: Rome, Italy

I had another slow morning but I was starting to feel better from my cold. I decided to explore the neighborhood a little bit and stopped at a restaurant for a snack.

Since my Airbnb was in a neighborhood outside of the city center, it was less touristy. This also meant the menu wasn’t in English and some of the staff didn’t speak English, which made things a bit harder on my end. I definitely should learn Italian next time.

I ordered bruschetta and grilled veggies since it was the middle of the day and half the menu was unavailable. The food was great and I headed back to the apartment afterwards for a nap.

Once I woke up, I headed over to Trastevere. We got food and drinks at a small restaurant and then decided to check out a few bars.

Towards the end of the night, we went to a club but they would only let two people in at a time. We asked if he could let the three of us in together and the bouncer told us to leave. This clearly was not the spot.

After walking around for a bit longer, I went back to my apartment and relaxed before going to sleep.
