Day 68: Rome, Italy

I had a hair appointment booked at 2pm, so I woke up a bit earlier than usual. I grabbed a quick bite to eat and headed straight over.

The salon was nice and everyone was helpful. I ended up getting around 3 inches trimmed, face framing layers, and a soft balayage to go a bit lighter. My hair had been getting long and I wanted to add something extra while staying natural, so this was perfect.

After my hair appointment was done, I went to get some pizza from a small shop down the street. They had tons of options and I went with a slice of parmigiana and a slice with fries. The pizza was amazing and so cheap.

Right in the middle of the plaza, there was a cat colony. They’re fed and looked after, but get to roam around the archaeological site and lay in the sun all day.

I decided to stop at Saint Peter’s Square on my way back to the apartment since I hadn’t visited when I went to the Vatican Museums in January. I walked around for a bit and grabbed some gelato from Old Bridge Gelateria.

It was dark at this point and I was cold from eating the gelato, so I went back home and relaxed before work.
