Day 28: Vienna, Austria

After ice skating in the cold for hours and exploring over the past few days, I was absolutely exhausted. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do on my last day in Vienna, but I knew I was going to spend most of the day relaxing.

I went to Tolstoy one last time, which fully ended up being my favorite restaurant in the city. After eating, I headed back to the hostel and sat in the lobby browsing a list of things to do.

I decided on visiting Prater, an amusement park that has a giant ferris wheel overlooking the city. After walking and taking public transport everywhere, I decided it was time to Uber.

I timed my trip around sunset and even though it was fairly cloudy, I got a small sliver of golden skies. I had also been on the search for an umbrella and gloves, and ended up purchasing some from the gift shop.

Since it was freezing, I headed to a tea house called Haas&Haas to warm up and grab food. I ordered a scone, herbal tea, and bruschetta.

After eating, I headed back to the hostel and got ready to work for the evening. I had another long travel day ahead of me.
