As someone who is always striving for perfection, refuses to make mistakes, and hates admitting that they’re wrong, I think that there’s an important message to be learned from this talk. We need to raise our children to take risks and be brave. It’s also necessary that we try to distance ourselves from society’s expectation that we need to be perfect. 

If you follow me on any social media platform, you’d know that I’m taking 33 units this fall. 15 of those are online from two community colleges and 18 are from FIDM. It’s an enormous undertaking, but it’s going to get me where I need to be. Once everything is completely figured out, I’ll be writing a blog post with all the details. For right now, I’m here to talk about time management and give you a glimpse into what my weeks are like.

This Friday I’m going to be able to say, “I’m in my 20’s.” That’s a really weird concept to me. I’m one year closer to figuring out my life, my career and achieving all that I want to accomplish. Over my very short nineteen year lifespan, I’ve picked up quite a few lessons through different experiences.
