It was time to head back to Los Angeles and say goodbye to Europe. After almost an entire day of travel, I was finally home.
It was my last full day in Rome AND my last full day in Europe. The trip had gone by so quickly. I decided to wake up a bit earlier than usual so I could take advantage of the day.
I started my morning with a photoshoot at the Colosseum right after work. Later in the evening, I headed to Trastevere for drinks and dessert.
I went to get my hair done, noticed a cat colony at an archaeological site across the street, and then stopped by Saint Peter’s Square in Vatican City.
I had a low key day and walked around the city center to grab a late lunch. I went to a popular tiramisu spot near the Trevi Fountain before heading home.
I took a pasta making class where we handmade two types of pasta and traditional Roman sauces.
I was finally starting to recover from my cold so I explored my local neighborhood before heading to Trastevere for drinks.
I went to a hillside with panoramic views of Rome and watched the sunset. Afterwards, I tried avocado pizza for dinner.
I visited the Spanish Steps, got a smoothie and aloe shot to help with my cold, and walked around the city.
My last travel day of the entire trip. I took the train from Florence to Rome and got settled into the Airbnb, the last stop on my European adventure.
I spent my last full day in Florence checking out a vegan restaurant called Flower Burger, listening to a quartet performing on the street, and getting gelato from the oldest shop in the city.
I had a full day and visited Piazzale Michelangelo, Clet Abraham’s studio, and the Uffizi Gallery to see one of Botticelli’s most famous pieces of work.
I took a day trip to visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which was about an hour outside of Florence. I climbed to the top for a beautiful view of the city.
I visited the Accademia Gallery and saw Michelangelo’s David, walked around Florence, and got some gelato.
I traveled from Milan to Florence, tackling a long walk from the train station to the Airbnb and my favorite: multiple flights of stairs.
I visited The Last Supper and walked around Piazza Gae Aulenti before heading back to the hostel to work and get ready for my travel day the following morning.
I had a jam-packed day and visited the Sforzesco Castle, Columns of St. Lawrence, and Niviglio Grande Canal.
I took a day trip to Lake Como, which is a short train ride away from Milan. I walked around the lake, ate gelato, and enjoyed the beautiful views.
With a couple hours of sleep, tons of walking, and carrying my luggage up multiple flights of stairs, I made my way from Monte Carlo, Monaco to Milan, Italy.
During my last full day in Monte Carlo, I visited Prince Rainier III’s car collection and walked around Fontvieille.
I spent the day shopping for an F1 jacket and went to Zara. My night ended at the Monte Carlo Casino, where I played the slot machines.
I visited the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco, the Prince’s Palace, and saw the most beautiful sunrise.
I explored Monte Carlo and went to the Monte Carlo Casino, walked down to the port and through various parks, and went grocery shopping.
After taking three different trains, I arrived in Monte Carlo with all my luggage and a bag of wet laundry. A Tesla picked me up at the station and drove me up to my apartment with the most beautiful view.
I had a relaxing day walking around the city before heading to the Eiffel Tower at night. When I got back to the Airbnb, I ran into another snag. Despite the issues at the end, Paris was one of my favorite stops.
I visited Montmartre, the Tuileries Garden, the pyramid at the Louvre Museum, and ended the day by hitting a huge snag in my trip and future travel plans.
I had another busy day in Paris, visiting Notre Dame, Shakespeare and Company Bookstore, the Pantheon, the restaurant from Emily in Paris, and the Luxembourg Gardens. I went out again that evening and found a great bar near my apartment.
I visited the Arc de Triomphe, YSL Museum, Pont Alexandre III, and got dinner at a cafe with a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. In the evening, I headed to Bastille for a night out.
When I decided to travel for 2 1/2 months, it was important to make sure that I was cognizant of the money I was spending. I evaluated and categorized every single cost for anyone curious about the price of my trip.
