I woke up and was craving sushi again so I found a spot that had a vegetarian platter. It was great and the perfect serving size. I even ordered green tea ice cream afterwards, despite the weather.
After eating, I headed to the Berlin Cathedral. I had bought a ticket for the 4:30pm time slot and timed it with my sleep schedule but more importantly, at sunset. I also had high hopes because it wasn’t supposed to rain and I was hoping to get a panoramic view of the city from the top.
I got lucky and had the best view once I got to the top. The sun was setting and it was golden hour, plus the clouds had cleared so everything worked out perfectly. I stayed at the top until it was time for everything to close and then headed back towards the hostel.
I stopped at St. Oberholz, a coffee shop near where I was staying and got a matcha and croissant. After some people watching and hanging out, I went back to the room and took a nap.
Right before I started work, I walked to a restaurant and got some sweet potato fries to snack on. I was exhausted, but taking full advantage of my days in Berlin by spacing out my sightseeing and adventures.
