I woke up in the early afternoon and planned to visit the car museum with F1 cars and Prince Rainier III’s car collection. On my way over, I stopped for a COVID test for entry into Italy. I tested negative, by the way.
I got some gelato while I waited for the results of my test and then was on my way to the museum. They had a fair amount of cars and I liked seeing some of the F1 cars that had been used in prior races.
I walked through Fontvieille for a bit and out onto the pier, before heading back to Monte Carlo and grabbing dinner at a restaurant along on the harbor.
After dinner, I headed back up to the apartment and got ready to work. I hit yet another snag, as the Wi-Fi had stopped working and my hotspot wasn’t either. I contacted customer support and there was an outage in France for the hotspot’s network which prevented me from being able to use it. I ended up having to pay for high-speed data from T-Mobile and using AirDrop to send files in Slack. It definitely wasn’t ideal, but I managed.
I went to bed right after the work shift was over, since I had a travel day ahead of me and was only going to get a couple hours of sleep before catching my train.
