It was my last full day in Rome AND my last full day in Europe. The trip had gone by so quickly. I decided to wake up a bit earlier than usual so I could take advantage of the day.
My first stop was a tattoo shop. If you know me, you know that I like to get tattoos from various places I travel to. Especially during long trips, like Costa Rica or this European adventure.
I went to a place called Lucky Signs Tattoo and they helped me decide a placement for the tattoo. I knew I wanted to get a small airplane, but I didn’t know where so I loved the input I got from them.
The process was fairly quick and ended up being £70, which I thought was reasonably priced. I was happy with the result and headed closer towards the city center one last time.
I took the train to the area I stayed in when I was in Rome in January. It felt like I had never left and I walked around a bit before stopping at a restaurant for food. I ordered cacio e pepe, but it was nothing like the homemade version we made in the cooking class.
After eating, it was getting dark so I decided to say goodbye to Rome and head back to the apartment to take a nap. My flight was at 12:10pm the next day which meant I’d only get a couple hours of sleep, so I wanted to take a longer nap before work.
