If you ever get the chance to go to Spring Training, definitely take advantage of that opportunity. Adrienne and I have also decided that we're going to make this Spring Training adventure an annual thing, so catch us in Arizona in 2018. I can just imagine us in 20 years bringing our families to the games.

It's official. I've graduated college and am in possession of an Associate's Degree in Social Media Marketing. The past year and a half has been quite the journey. Though FIDM was not what I'd expected it to be, I'm thankful for my life here in Los Angeles. I've been able to create lifelong memories and friendships through the school. I'm not sure where my life is headed next, but I know that I'm mentally in a great place and ready to tackle anything life throws my way.

If an athlete, musician or anyone else in the public eye wants to speak up for what they believe in, then by all means - we should encourage that! You are allowed to disagree with their opinion, but you cannot criticize them for having one.

Left. Left. Left. Left. Right. Left. Left. No, those aren’t dance steps. That is someone judging pictures of people on a dating app. In a tweet from August 2015, Tinder claimed that there had been 8 billion matches made via the app. That number has only risen over the past year and a half. As social media usage has exponentially grown, people have turned towards mobile apps to find hookups, friends, love, etc.

I haven’t written a post about this quarter yet, so I thought I’d update you all on my life. This summer, I hope to get a head start on my future baseball career. I don’t necessarily know how that’s going to happen yet, but I know that if I set my mind to something... it’ll manifest. I’m going to end this blog post with photos from a photoshoot that I had yesterday.

Over the past year, we’ve seen the unthinkable happen in more instances than one. Statistics and predictions try to be as reliable and accurate as possible, but they still can’t take into account the rise and fall of humans, fate, destiny, luck or whatever else you want to call it. As much as we’d like to be able to, we can't predict the future.

I felt more safe in that crowd of 750,000 people than I sometimes do walking in downtown Los Angeles in broad daylight. Everyone was friendly and participating for the same reasons. Everyone was an advocate of love, peace and equality.

2016 sure was a crazy year, huh? That was two years ago for you. Wow. In 2016 I figured out the type of people I want to surround myself with, I voted in my first presidential election and I had the time of my life. I know many people said that 2016 was a sh*t year but despite all the heartbreaking moments, it had its amazing ones. How was 2017? All of us have high hopes that it’s going to be great.

Last week I wrote a blog post about my favorite San Francisco Giants moments of 2016, so I thought that this week I would write about my personal favorite moments of the year. 2016 is the first full year that I’ve lived in Los Angeles and I couldn’t be any happier in this city that I love. While 2016 didn’t go as well as the majority of the country had hoped (get my reference here?), I want to remember it for all the amazing memories.

As someone who is always striving for perfection, refuses to make mistakes, and hates admitting that they’re wrong, I think that there’s an important message to be learned from this talk. We need to raise our children to take risks and be brave. It’s also necessary that we try to distance ourselves from society’s expectation that we need to be perfect.

If you follow me on any social media platform, you’d know that I’m taking 33 units this fall. 15 of those are online from two community colleges and 18 are from FIDM. It’s an enormous undertaking, but it’s going to get me where I need to be. Once everything is completely figured out, I’ll be writing a blog post with all the details. For right now, I’m here to talk about time management and give you a glimpse into what my weeks are like.

Baseball. A game that we’ve all grown to love. Whether that love began the day we were born or in our childhood or even in adulthood, we all share the same passion.

This Friday I’m going to be able to say, “I’m in my 20’s.” That’s a really weird concept to me. I’m one year closer to figuring out my life, my career and achieving all that I want to accomplish. Over my very short nineteen year lifespan, I’ve picked up quite a few lessons through different experiences.
