It was another beautiful day in Monte Carlo and I woke up to best view of the a bright blue water from my balcony. I had decided to go to the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco which was a bit of a walk so I got ready to head out right when I woke up.
I stopped for a few photos on the other side of the harbor and this time, I was happy with the photos that a stranger took of me.
I continued along the path to the museum, bought a ticket and spent the next couple hours with jellyfish and other sea creatures. There was also information about what the various leaders of Monaco had done about climate change and the preservation of our oceans. They also had a cool immersive room that took you into the Coral Reef.
I wandered through the streets for a bit, coming to a lookout of Fontvieille, which was located just on the other side of the hill.
My next stop was the Prince’s Palace which I observed from the outside. It wasn’t open to visitors at the time. I got a crepe with banana and Nutella from a small cafe nearby and watched the sun set from above Monte Carlo.
Afterwards, I made my way back down to Monte Carlo and then back up the other side of the harbor before finally tackling the steps back up to the Airbnb. It had been a successful day.
Before I went to sleep after working, I got to see the most beautiful sunrise. The sky was the most beautiful shade of pink.
