I woke up at around 2:30pm, tired from my travel day. I got ready quickly and headed out. The walk into Monte Carlo was fairly quick, with two separate flights of stairs making an easy path down from the Airbnb.
My first stop was the Monte Carlo Casino. It was beautiful and I noticed walking around that the streets of Monte Carlo were clean. Everything was exquisite and looked expensive.
I continued on my way and walked down to the pier. I stopped for a snack and ate it sitting on a ledge overlooking the harbor. Then, I headed back up and walked through a small garden area with a great view of the water.
I found myself in another small park when I got closer to town and then I went to the grocery store. I’d been spending a lot of money eating out so I was going to try and cook more while in Monte Carlo. It was also a bit of a hike to get back up to the Airbnb so I didn’t plan to go out for dinner late at night like I’d done in previous places.
I headed back up to the Airbnb at around 7pm. It was definitely a workout but compared to Positano, it was a breeze. I took a quick nap before getting ready to work.
