I woke up at around 12:30pm and headed out to Augusto Coffee, a place recommended by the host of my Airbnb. I got a matcha latte with oat milk since they had Oatly. After sitting outside for a bit, I decided to wander around the city.
I went to Old Town and walked through the cobblestone streets before I ended up on the edge of the water. There were so many different scenic views and I stopped every few seconds to capture it all.
I walked to the Church of St. Euphemia and unfortunately the bell tower was closed, but I’ve heard the view from the top is incredible.
I kept walking and came across stairs down to the water and found a small cave. There were also ladders from the rocks into the sea since during the summer months these are popular places to go swimming.
After spending some time relaxing, I walked out onto the pier and was able to view the entire city from afar.
The host also recommended the restaurant at the hotel nearby so I went there for a late lunch and got pasta with truffles. It was amazing and I knew I’d be back again before I left.
The sun was still shining so I sat on a bench near the pier to soak in the rays for a bit. After about 30 minutes, I could feel myself getting tired so I decided to head back to the Airbnb for a nap before spending the rest of the evening inside.
I worked on a few things before making some pasta for “dinner” at 3am and going to sleep.
